DTRE achieves BREEAM status with K2 Space’s new office design
DTRE completed an 11,000 sq. ft office space that satisfied rigorous sustainability standards. The undertaking was finished in approximately 4.5 months, and in August 2022, the BREEAM accreditation gave it a "very good" rating. To achieve this, the project team had to meet a variety of requirements across nine categories: management, health and wellbeing, energy, transport, water, materials, waste, pollution, and innovation. This involved the use of energy-efficient light bulbs equipped with motion sensors, as well as managing glare and light levels to create the best possible working environment for staff.
